It takes a lot out of us, doesn't it? Losing something, it just hurts and losing someone precious, well that can feel like death itself.
But we dont die and letting yourself live with that loss is not really living either.
Yes it was precious, yes you thought you would have it for the rest of your life, yes you thought it would become or worse was your life, but now it is gone. No amount of rumination is going to bring it back.
Today, deal with a loss.
Sulk, wallow, shut the world out, weep, laugh, get drunk, get high, eat, binge, walk, run, exercise, surf the net for stupid things people do, refuse to get up, do whatever it takes, but deal with it. Lay the burden to rest.
