A politician asked his son to jump from the roof of the house. The son resisted, claiming that he would fall and hurt himself. The Politician promised the son, that he would catch the son and no harm would come of it. The son jumped. The Politician pulled away.
The son, screaming now, accuses the father of pulling out and harming him. The bigger lesson my son, said the politician, never trust a politician.
The son grew up to be a far more popular politician than his father.
