If you are like a lot of other people out there, who know they can, want to and yet somehow do not manage to, this is the thing for you.

Thats right.

You heard me right, say no!

Say NO to all the things you don't want to do.
Say NO to all the time wasting.
Say NO to all the things/activities/tasks/meetings that do not add value to you.

Start letting people know that you respect your time and effort and you are unwilling to waste any of it.

Say NO today and don't feel guilty about it!

Visit a Competitor!

Why?

To know who & what you competing with!

Visit the competitor.

If you can sample the services, brilliant, but even if you cant, see/observe what they are upto.

Observe the cleanliness, observe the guests, observe the staff/employees, their body language, their mannerisms, observe the marketing material, observe the process.

Now make notes.

Write down three things you liked about them.

I know, you are more likely to find faults, but at this moment, I want you to focus on what they are doing right. That is where you can learn & improve.

So, today Visit a Competitor!

Post something on the Notice Board

I love this one.

It is simple, effective and one of the best marketing techniques I know.

If you think you dont need to market yourself think again. (maybe later I will write a post on that..)

The Notice Board is seen by all.
People you dont know & people who didnt know you existed.

Put up something informative/creative/original/funny/wacky.

That’s it!

That is your task for the day.  Smile like an Idiot.

Don’t stop even if you think it makes you look stupid.

Don’t stop even if people nag you about why you smiling.

Don’t stop even if people don’t smile back.

 

     Carry that smile. 

On you face, in your eyes, in your heart!
